Kensington Contour Roller Case

Kensington Contour Roller CaseMy husband, Devin, travels a fair amount and has to have his work laptop with him almost constantly. He had been using a standard laptop carry case, but it was not sufficient. The straps cut into his shoulder, it hurt his back and neck, and simply did not carry enough. After some research, I decided on the Kensington Contour Roller Case.

Here are the technical details:

  • Kensington Edge: Body-hugging contour panel on carrying case and weight distribution system reduce shoulder fatigue by 35% when carrying.
  • Carrying case made of1680 Denier Ballistic nylon – protects against abrasions, punctures and tears
  • Telescoping handle provides lighter pulling weight due to a more upright carrying case position.
  • Padded rear compartment and convenient pocket for on-the-go access to air tickets, etc.
  • SnugFit(TM) sleeve suspends and wraps computer in snug protection

Kensington Contour Roller CaseDevin’s had this case now for about six months and has been very happy with it. The contour of the case definitely makes a difference. When he has to carry the case, instead of rolling it, he suffers from much less shoulder, neck and back fatigue. It rolls well and has a strap for attaching to a rolling suitcase when he is traveling. The best feature, aside from the contour, has to be the carry handle. The two halves sit together in a nested fashion that helps reduce hand fatigue and provides a very secure handle. Overall, we would both highly recommend this case. It fits a 17″ laptop securely and has plenty of room for paperwork, pens, calculators, etc. Its definitely a must have for anyone who needs to take their office with them.
